FORCED LABOR AND CHILD LABOR POLICY

Introduction

Nayax Ltd. and its affiliates are committed to conduct business while always complying with and respecting human rights and workers' rights as well as ensuring that employees have the right to enter work voluntarily and freely, without menace of any penalty.

Nayax will act professionally, fairly and with full of integrity in carrying out business relations with every employee without giving tolerance to all forms of Child Labor and Forced Labor, either directly or indirectly.

This Policy outlines our commitment to preventing and eliminating Forced Labor and Child Labor throughout our supply chain and business activities.

CHILD LABOR

Definitions

The definition of Child Labor adopted by Nayax is based upon the internationally recognized standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO):

  • Child is every person under 18 (eighteen) years old.
  • Child Labor is a work that deprives children of their childhood, interferes with their ability to attend regular schools, and is mentally, physically, socially, or morally harmful.

Policy Statement

Nayax strictly prohibits the use of Child Labor in all its operations, including those of its suppliers and business partners. We are committed to upholding and promoting the principles outlined in the ILO conventions, including ILO conventions No.138 and No.182, and we expect our suppliers and business partners to adhere to these standards.

Preventive Strategy

Nayax implements reliable control mechanism and strategy in order to prevent Child Labor practices. This effort may be conducted by verifying the age of applicants for employment, in compliance with the minimum age requirements as stipulated by the relevant jurisdiction, using written documents which present valid identifications issued by an official authority.

Nayax will require proof of implementation of all measures required to ensure that hiring processes are designed to preclude Child Labor practice through careful examination of documents.

 

FORCED LABOR

Definitions

Nayax defines Forced Labor based on ILO Convention No. 29 (1930) as all work or service which is exacted from any person under the menace of any penalty and for which the said person has not offered himself voluntarily.

Forced labor can include practices such as violence and intimidation, restriction of people’s movement or imprisonment; withholding wages or identity documents, or threats of denunciation to immigration or other governmental authorities. to force them to stay on the job; or entangling them in manipulated debt.

Forced labor is a criminal offence and a violation of fundamental human rights.

Policy Statement

Nayax strictly prohibits the use of Forced Labor in all its operations, including those of its suppliers and business partners. We are committed to upholding and promoting the principles outlined in the International Labor Organization's (ILO) conventions, including ILO convention No.29, and we expect our suppliers and business partners to adhere to these standards.

Nayax shall compensate employees fairly and follow local wage regulations and/or collective agreements, ensure that working hours, including overtime, do not exceed applicable legal requirements.

Health, Safety and Environmental Management of the Workplace

Nayax shall provide a safe and healthy workplace for all its employees and shall conduct its business in an environmentally sustainable way. In particular, Nayax shall:

  • Establish appropriate organizational structures and procedures for the effective management of health, safety, and environmental risks; and
  • Ensure that all workers are sufficiently aware of these risks and appropriately trained on the implementation of control measures.

Nondiscrimination

No person shall be subject to any discrimination in employment, including hiring, compensation, advancement, discipline, termination or retirement, on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, social group or ethnic origin.

Harassment or Abuse

Every employee shall be treated with respect and dignity. No employee shall be subject to any physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Nayax will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to Forced Labor and Child Labor in the jurisdictions where we operate. This includes but is not limited to the ILO conventions, the U.S. Trafficking Victims Protection Act, and other relevant international and national laws.

Supplier and Business Partner Responsibility

We expect our suppliers and business partners to share our commitment to preventing Forced Labor and Child Labor.

Monitoring and Auditing

Nayax will implement monitoring and auditing processes to ensure compliance with this Policy. This may include regular assessments of our own operations, as well as those of our suppliers and business partners. Non-compliance may result in corrective actions, termination of contracts, or other appropriate measures.

Reporting Violations

Employees, suppliers, or business partners who become aware of any violations of this Policy are encouraged to report such violations through the established reporting mechanisms of Nayax here.

Training and Communication

Nayax will provide training to employees, suppliers, and business partners on the prevention of Forced Labor and Child Labor, reinforcing our commitment to ethical business practices.

Continuous Improvement

Nayax is committed to continuous improvement in preventing and eliminating Forced Labor and Child Labor. We will regularly review and update this Policy to ensure its effectiveness.
